The 2013 Audi Q7 will be much lighter than the current Q7
The Audi Q7 was rather late to the SUV party of the noughties, not hitting the road until 2005. That meant the Q7 had a bit of an edge when it launched, as it was newer than its competition, but it also means the Q7 is still soldiering on when its competition has already launched newer, shinier models. But Audi are working on fixing that, and fixing the biggest criticism of the Q7 in the process – its sheer weight and size.
Ford SYNC in Europe
Ford owners in the US have benefited from Ford SYNC for quite some time. And now owners of the 2011 Ford Focus will be the first to get all that connectivity goodness from 2012. Essentially, Ford SYNC is a way of accessing and connecting with devices on – and in – the car.
Sure, if it were up to us, every car would sound like a Lamborghini Aventador or a McLaren Formula One race car. And while those specific options aren't available (yet),Ford is using its Facebook page to let fans vote on sounds to be made by the electric Focus. Since EVs are so quiet, Ford needs to give the Focus electric some sound for safety's sake--to draw the attention of people who are blind people, those using cell phones or iPods and even for animals.
